Position Details:
Role: SQL DBA L3
Experience: 8–15Years
Location: Kolkata/Delhi/Mumbai
Job Overview:
You'll workas SQL Database Administrator in support and delivery team, supporting end customers. Involved in implementation and post implementation of the projects. Leading and training the team.We primarily need DB Administrator with sound DB backup/recovery/migration/HA/DR knowledge. Primarily for SQL DB, Azure SQL MI, Azure can train him on CosmosDB. Cloud knowledge is mandatory.
What you'll do:
• Responsible to understand the functionality of existing system
• Interact with different teams and identify root cause of the concern
• Responsible to analyze the scenario and provide appropriate solution
• Follow-up and get the issue fixed within SLA
• Responsible to communicate effectively with other teams
• Responsible for extracting various data from different source
• Automating common data extraction into ETL form.
• Responsible for migrating client data to various environment
Required Skills:
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience. on MS SQL Server 2012 or higher database T- SQL experience with stored procedures, user defined functions, XML, Indexes.
• Minimum 6-8 years of MSSQL administration experience
• Must worked on any ETL tools like SSIS, Talend etc.
• Minimum 1 years' Experience on any Cloud infrastructure like Azure or AWS.
• Working experience on performance tuning, disaster recovery, drill activity
• Experience on on premise to cloud migration will be preferred
• Should have capability of analyzing different scenarios
• Should be able to communicate the solutions and ideas effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Should be able to provide quick fix.
• Added advantage if candidate having knowledge in .net framework asp
Good to have skills
• Added advantage if candidate is having knowledge in PowerShell / Shell Script
