Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Engineer with expertise in Azure API Management and .NET to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and managing APIs, as well as a thorough understanding of integration patterns and best practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The position aligns with SFIA + Level 4 for Skill Code PROG, which emphasizes the design, development, and implementation of software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Azure API Management and .NET technologies. Implement integration solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, security, and functionality. Document integration processes, workflows, and technical specifications. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve integration solutions. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices and technical challenges. Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders. Skills (Must Have) Proven experience with Azure API Management and .NET development. Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices. Proficiency in C# and .NET Core. Experience with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus. Familiarity with API security and authentication mechanisms, such as OAuth and JWT. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with version control systems, such as Git. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
