Position: Lead Backend Developer
Location: Bangalore / Mumbai / Pune

Fractional investment/yield generating assets have become a strong alternate investment avenue which is being consumed by every segment of the investment fraternity.
We are a small yet close-knit team of about 70+ people having our teams across Bangalore, Mumbai & Pune and looking to expand to other geographies soon.
Funding: Strata has raised a total of $7.5M in funding over 2 rounds. Their latest funding was $6 million, raised on Jul 2021, from a Series A round. Our backers include Elevation Partners, Mayfield, Kotak Investment Advisory & Gruhas.
Responsibilities:
As the Technical Lead, you will be responsible for:
● Building Strata PropTech platform to add features
● Enhancing and maintaining the existing platform
● Actively involved in overall design discussions and peer code reviews apart from your own features.
● Factor in extensibility, maintainability, scalability and security in designs and code.
● Support your team members when they are facing challenges, and mentor them to help them grow and in turn strengthen the team.
● Ensure that Engineering best practices are followed and foster a culture of innovation and overall engineering excellence
Responsibilities:
● 6+ years of total experience
● 2+ years of experience in Python, Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF)
● Experience in designing, building and troubleshooting scalable web applications
● Good understanding of SQL database design and queries
Skills that will give you an edge:
● Knowledge of AWS
● JS based frontend frameworks such as Angular, React
● Knowledge of microservices
● Exposure to DevOps practices
Product Technology Stack
● Backend: Python, Django and DRF
● Frontend: AngularJS, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS or LESS, and Bootstrap
● Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, ECS, RDS, S3, SQS
● Bitbucket for Git and CI/CD pipeline
