What's the role?
• Be a part of HERE Platform Experience team developing complex web components enabling editing and visualization of data.
• You will be responsible for application and components, through which users will create their own Maps.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle of our service
• Develop an innovative, scalable, high-quality set of microservices in a cross-functional team
• Provide technical leadership on the service architecture
• Write clean, simple and well-tested code
• Contribute ideas for new features and identify areas for improvement
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery of systems and infrastructure
• Collaborate effectively in and across teams
• Provide rotational on-call support to the product and root cause analysis of software and system defects.
Who are you?
You are a team-player who collaborates with developers, designers, testers and product manager to create an amazing user experience. You have experience with all aspects of the production software lifecycle. You have good interpersonal skills and feel comfortable coordinating efforts across teams. You are a fast learner, with an eye for detail, strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• A Bachelor’s degree and Strong programming skills with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong Back-end development experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
• Excellent experience building and using REST API
• Experience running production service on cloud-based environment, using Kubernetes and/or AWS
• Experience with CI systems (Gitlab, Jenkins, or other)
• Front-end development experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience with React framework
• Experience in fixing performance issues on UI
