SCIEX R&D Software department at IDC Bangalore is looking for Lead Software Engineer I:
Software Developer.
The Lead Software Engineer I:
Software Developer Works closely with our Software Applications and Research associates, and other functions to design and develop Mass spectrometer software products and capabilities with focus on instrument control and drive development.
• Act as a technical product owner to drive product increment and work with global product owners and product managers.
• Analyzes problems to deliver creative, logical, and effective solutions using good design principles that satisfy functional and non-functional requirements.· Works with off-site development teams to ensure development process and product alignment during project execution.
• Actively contribute to architecture and project review.

Evaluates new software development technologies, tools and practices. Recommend adoption of new tools.
Implements software modules and unit tests and conducts appropriate module testing. May lead small software development teams of software developers. Detects, reports, investigates, and fixes product defectsMentor Jr. team members, and peer reviews product artifacts including requirement specifications, design specifications, code, etc. Follows established practices of agile methodologies that will ensure high quality software.
Works collaboratively and proactively to maximize the success of the research and development teams.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.6+ years' experience in designing and developing applications using C#/.NET.Experience in developing enterprise level desktop application.
Excellent communication, facilitation skill with presentation abilities. Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skillsOutstanding communication and.
Proven technical leadership skills and a team player, with strong collaborative skills to work with global and cross functional teams.
Proficient in time management & solution provider.
Participate in architecture, design, code reviews and all Agile ceremonies.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
