Global Systematic Hedge Fund - Lead Java Developer- £275,000 Total Compensation A global multi-strategy hedge funds is looking for an exceptional Java developer to own the buildout of a new cross-asset risk division that will overlook at the firms overall risk exposure, including intraday and end-of-day risk management. You will have incredible amounts of autonomy, working in a tight-knit team and reporting directly to the CTO. This greenfield project will include building risk scenarios infrastructure, rewriting VaR systems as well as developing the core infrastructure for the platform. The highly collaborative nature of the role will allow you to interact with many other teams across the business, including quants, traders and risk managers. While no risk calculations will have to be done for the role, the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of how risk works, and how the values are significant to the business.
