Job summary
As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase with GLOBAL IDENTITY & ACCESS MGMT under CTC, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Design, code, test, and deliver software to automate manual operational work
Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents
Engage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changes
Identify application patterns and analytics in support of better service level objectives
Design self-healing and resiliency patterns. Design performance tests, identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization and capacity demands, and present solutions for continuous improvements
Design best in class monitoring frameworks to accomplish end-to-end flow monitoring and noiseless alerting. Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions
Participate in the support coverage including weekends as needed, Coach or manage teams as applicable
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum of 10+ years of applied experience
Strong AWS Skills - Strong Cloud Engineering Experience
Strong Infrastructure / Platform skills and ability to write Advanced SQL Queries with tools like SQL Developer
Experience with programming language ex. Python, Java, and scripting language
Experience in handling critical application outages in an large scale operations & driving root cause analysis and remediation
Experience with instrumentation, monitoring, alerting and responding - relative to performance and availability of application, using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus etc.
Experience with Jenkins, GIT and CI/CD pipelines and e xperience with Enterprise Databases (e.g. Oracle)

In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
