Job Description
Location: Chennai India 5 x a week onsite
Duration: 12 month contract +extensions
Compensation: ~15-1+ LPA
Required Skills:
10 + years IT experience with 5+ years developing web applications with heavy usage of Javascript
• Expert in frontend, middleware design, development & implementation with experience in Angular, Node Express & related technologies
• Knowledge of the RESTful API design
• Solid Understanding of Javascript and typescript
• Strong understanding of UI frameworks/languages such as Angular
• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing database schemas using RDBMS, with a focus on MySQL or Postgres
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers
• Solid coding skills with the ability to guide teams through massive refactoring exercises
• Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability performance security & reliability
• Experience with unit-test driven approach to development
• Plusses:
• Knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Knowledge of Linux
Day to Day:
Perform code reviews and refactoring discussions with multiple domains and delivery teams to ensure high quality deliverables
Conduct feasibility studies to ensure the product is up to date with the latest technologies
