As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team in Digital Tech group to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Designs, analyzes, develops, codes, tests, debugs and documents programming to satisfy business requirements
Is able to influence teams with design strategies, right tool adoption and practices for Java development and Agile adoption.
Work proactively with CCB Digital developers, managers and business partners to develop, coordinate, communicate and enforce testing schedules, and deliverables
Utilize excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work proficiently and effectively in an Agile / Scrum feature team environment
Provide support to the application in terms of analyzing issues, finding root cause of prod issues and providing resolution to the issues
Research new technologies, identify and learn best practice, adapt quickly and provide technical guidance to other team members
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Must have 7+ of applied experience developing services with Java 8 and Spring Boot with REST and JSON.
Experience in delivering end-to-end technology solutions using Java/J2EE.
Experience with NoSQL database experience (Cassandra) is desired.
Experience with event driven technologies such as Kafka, MQ is desired and Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jules)
Functional testing with Cucumber and other Mock frameworks is a plus.
Experience with Front End technologies (JavaScript, React, AngularJS) is desired.
Hands on with Maven, Git or related build and source control tools.
Experience in deploying applications for the Cloud; preferably with Cloud Foundry.
Motivated, self-learning individual , will be able to mentor/guide other team members.
