Job Title – Lead Software Engineer
The Purpose of This Role
You will work across the development and product teams to launch, support, and extend our application, Saifr. Experience with successfully bringing applications, systems to market, directly creating, deploying, and delivering software is an important aspect of this role. This is a hands-on, technical role.

You will be a highly capable hands-on developer, curious with technology, a solid communicator in working with our engineering, product, and sales teams.
You will play a senior technical contributor role. We are looking for a very strong, hands-on contributor with the willingness to learn and grow as our team takes on more. Experience with regulatory technology is highly desired.
The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical / Behavioral
You should have experience in brining software solutions to market/production directly contributing, deploying, and developing as part of a project team.
You should have minimum of 2 years of experience in creating and publishing software in Java
You should have proficiency with Jira, GIT/Bitbucket, Confluence and can adapt to new tools/solutions that benefit the team.
You should have proficiency in working in an Agile, Kanban or Scrum based team environment and delivery model
You should possess excellent oral and written communication skills - ability to effectively communicate across internal and external business, marketing, and engineering departments
You should have the ability to identify and extrapolate on problems, defects and recommend insightful solutions
You should have hands-on experience developing systems that use modern distributed Software Architecture Patterns (e.g. Cloud/Containerization, Streaming, Microservices, Orchestration, etc.)
You should have experience with building standards-based APIs, using REST, Java and cloud development. The primary language of the team is Java/Python.
You should possess experience in developing cloud solutions and creatively solving problems
You should have experience in working with Microsoft Azure, GCP or AWS. Expectation is that the team will support cross cloud installations. Experience with at least on platform is preferred.
The Skills that are Good To Have for this role
Full-stack development experience across distributed applications and services
Strong familiarity with Cloud Foundations implementation (Pipeline, Cloud Formation, Development Tool Stack, Containers etc.)
Strong Application Architectural experience across different technology stacks.
