As a key technical contributor, you will be responsible for implementing critical technology solutions across various technical domains within different business functions, supporting the firm’s business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
Develops innovative software solutions, designs, and technical troubleshooting, with the ability to think beyond conventional approaches to create solutions or resolve technical challenges.
Produces secure, high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate the remediation of recurring issues to enhance the overall operational stability of software applications and systems.
Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented assessments of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for integration within existing systems and information architecture.
Champions communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote awareness and adoption of new and cutting-edge technologies.
Contributes to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
Proven proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, etc.).
Extensive experience as a Java Fullstack developer with Spring Boot-based microservices, AWS, Database Technologies, and ReactJS.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Expertise in automation and continuous delivery methods.
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Experience with Kafka, Cassandra, Postgres, and Kubernetes.
