As a Lead Software Engineer - Fullstack Developer at WLT team in Commercial Banking at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a full stack developer in an Individual Contributor role & seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives. You will be working on Ineligible Calculation Engine, WLT's strategic application platform which interfaces with multiple systems
Job responsibilities
• Designs & Executes software solutions, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Takes ownership of the project & team's deliverables
• Performs code reviews & guides / helps the team
• Identifies risks & communicates to key stakeholders in a timely manner
• Creates secure and high-quality production code & promotes code to higher environments using CI/CD
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience with React JS, Java Spring Boot,Kafka & SQL
• Hands-on experience in building microservices using Kafka and deployment on container orchestration platform like ECS or EKS in AWS
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies & tools likeJIRA,CI/CD - Jenkins / spinnaker,git / Bitbucket and Maven
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, debugging, testing, and operational stability
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Familiarity with Domain driven design (DDD) & Event driven architecture (EDA)
• Familiarity with User centered design (UCD) & UI/UX
• AWS certification
• Automated Functional testing (like Cucumber)
