Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of highly skilled software engineers.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and performance feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.
- Advocate for best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Technical Architecture & Design
- Understand and contribute to the architecture and design of our existing systems.
- Identify and implement technical improvements to our existing systems, such as performance optimizations, scalability enhancements, and security upgrades.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve our development process and product quality.
Infrastructure Management
- Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure and database.
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of our production environment.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Process & Standards
- Define and implement development processes, coding standards, and best practices across the engineering team.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and security best practices.
Project Management
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.
- Estimate project timelines and manage project deliverables effectively.
- Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects
