Job Summary
As a Lead Engineer (VP) at JPMorgan Chase, you will join the POST (Portfolio Options and Segmentation Tool) team to design and implement the next generation buildout of a cloud native liquidity risk (LRI) management platform for JPMC. The Liquidity risk technology organization aims to provide a comprehensive solution to managing the firm's liquidity risk and to meet our regulatory reporting obligations across 50+ markets. Portfolio Options and Segmentation Tool (POST -Resolution) is JPMC's Internally developed application that supports firm's commitment to U.K. (Prudential Regulatory Authority) and U.S. (Federal Reserve Board and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) Agencies' Regulatory requirement of demonstrating resolvability. The Agencies require that the firm submit a plan for its rapid and orderly resolution in the event of material financial distress or failure. The firm needs to continuously enhance its resolution liquidity calculation capabilities & loss absorbing capacity, including enhancing its ability to calibrate and alter assumptions in its resolution liquidity execution need (RLEN) methodologies that reflect actual stress conditions and produce reliable and timely forecasts.

Participate in all aspects of the software development process including, requirements, designing, coding, unit testing, quality assurance, and deployment
Use the right mix of open-source technologies and home-grown distributed commuting frameworks to build software that meets the requirements
Contributes to team drive for continual improvement of development process and innovative solutions to meet business needs
Ensure adherence to architecture standards, application robustness and security policies
Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making in service of secure, stable application development
Use the agile software development methodologies such as SCRUM, for quick turnaround time
Manage team of software engineers and build high performing/winning team.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with 14+years of hands-on development experience and knowledge of Cloud, Python, ReactJS, Microservices.
Proficiency in Oracle, PL/SQL and Database development.
Good knowledge of AWS and CI/CD Pipeline with strong focus on TDD
Excellent Engineering skills in designing and implementing scalable solutions
Strong communication skills and ownership
Spending a large percentage of time in driving development, working closely with business / stakeholders to produce high quality code in a test-driven environment
Helping to identify opportunities for improvement within the existing applications to increase stability and simplify the platform
Working with a team of engineers and developers to ensure that the POST platform is engineered to be standardized, optimized, available, reliable, consistent, accessible and secure to support business and technology needs
Providing operational excellence through root cause analysis and continuous improvement
Staying current and informed on emerging technologies and new techniques to refine and improve overall delivery
Interacting with partners across feature teams to collaborate on reusable services to meet solution requirements
