At Rocketlane, we’re a team that has previously built and rolled out globally successful SaaS products used by tens of thousands of customers. We’re laser-focused on delivering a world-class new product again and looking for an ambitious Senior Frontend Engineer with a strong background in performance optimization and cutting-edge technologies to join our existing team of + engineers.

Some of the tech problems you get to work on as a Senior Frontend Developer include building real-time collaboration experiences across our product, developing live document editing and modern spreadsheet experiences from scratch, creating flexible new Kanban-style views of work tasks, crafting cool new UI components and interactions, and optimizing the performance of our product with the latest and greatest technologies.

About you:
• Minimum 4 years of overall experience as a frontend developer, with at least 3 years experience in ReactJS
• Utilize ReactJS and Typescript to design and develop web application UIs that are both user-friendly and responsive
• Collaborate with the UX team to translate wireframes and designs into high-quality code.
• Work closely with the product management and engineering teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that adheres to established coding standards
• Optimize application performance and ensure a smooth user experience
• Identify and troubleshoot front-end performance bottlenecks
• Optimize state management to minimize unnecessary re-renders and improve application performance
• Utilize frontend storage technologies like IndexedDB to reduce server requests and improve application performance
• Experience with WebSockets in the context of large-scale applications.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium for testing and end-to-end automation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools like Github actions
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Cloudfront and Lambda
• Continuously improve development processes, tools, and frameworks
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as logrocket and datadog
