Job Description Job Title – Lead – Software Engineering The Purpose of Your Role A talented individual to lead in our effort in engineering, managing, developing enterprise-based applications for Software Engineering Domain. This individual is expected to work directly with Product Owners, business partners and senior engineers across the team, as well as other technical and business stakeholders across the organization in a fast paced agile environment. The role involves continuous collaboration with partners, iterative understanding of requirements, following Fidelity best practices / methodologies, thorough understanding of the technology roadmap, advancement to design / development process, lead from front the development of the Digital Xchange platform. The Skills That Are Key To This Role • You are delivery focused with the ability to take full ownership. • You are expected to support and define sprint goals and deliverables, writing user stories and contribute with the product manager in the overall roadmap. • Work closely with UI/UX Designer and Content Strategist to define the deliverables. • Responsible for Sprint Refinement and Planning. • Work closely with interfacing systems and coordinating implementation and support. • Build up User Groups and have regular connect. • Define and track metrics for the product. • Responsible for product communication, release notes and release formality. • Work closely with Scrum Master to resolve impediment. • Participate in enterprise working groups. • You have Experience working with distributed teams in different time-zones. • You have Experience working with distributed teams in different time-zones • You have Strong commitment to quality and engineering excellence • You have Strong communication skills, problem solving skills and adaptability • You have Experience in reverse engineering and understanding existing applications • You must be have a product mindset Technical / Behavioral • Experience in the systems analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise scale apps. • Experience in Developer experience tools and domain. • Deep understanding of API, Events, file exchanges, message queues • You know Agile methodologies or iterative development processes The Skills that are Good to Have for this role • Experience in building a Federated search portal • If you have experience working on AWS Kendra that would be an added advantage. How Your Work Impacts The Organization Software Engineering Domain is focused on building solutions for the Corporate Technology Group (CTG) & Enterprise Cybersecurity Teams in Enterprise Technology Group (ETG). SWE provides integrated technology solutions to enterprise wide functions including Corporate Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Records Management, Compliance, Legal, & Risk and Unified Developer Experience (UDE). This position is specifically in the UDE area, Digital Xchange is building a discoverability portal to support the UDE initiatives being run enterprise wide.
