Job Title – Lead - Software Engineering - Full Stack

The Purpose of This Role
The Managed Solutions team in Personal Investing is seeking a hardworking engineer to join us in building innovative and outstanding capabilities to our platform.
As a Lead software engineer on the team, you will have the opportunity to leverage all of your skills in software engineering to support the Managed Solutions account opening and transition users from our Retail accounts. You will be encouraged to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications and will work with the team to deliver outstanding solutions.

• You will work and mentor engineering & design teams in Boston and Bangalore.

The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical / Behavioral
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 6+ years of development experience (currently hands on) in Java 8, Spring MVC / Spring Core / Web Services (SOAP/REST) and configuring web containers.
• 5+ years of development experience in HTML, CSS/SASS, Jquery, Angular 5 or higher , NodeJS, Jasmine, Protractor.
• Working experience with Design patterns, UML
• Test Driven Development, Junit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor
• Application build, deploy using Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools - Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, etc.
• Writing SQL queries and debugging stored procedures within an Oracle environment.
• Leadership: Outstanding teammate, self-starter, collaborative, innovative, eager to learn every day.
• Developer/AWS certification is a plus
• Understanding of containers, cloud-computing / cloud services platforms (e.g. AWS or azure) will be a plus
Behavioral
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good customer interaction skills
• Quick learner and willing to adapt and learn new technologies
• Great attitude, team player and effective contributor
• Commitment to quality and high standards

• Experience in AWS deployment
• Experience with Docker containers
How Your Work Impacts the Organization
Growing the managed accounts business is central to the firms priorities and revenue. This work on Account Transitions is an enabler for the customers to move to a managed account with or without rep assistance. When rep assisted the transitions would happen more quickly and require less operations time as well. Improving the experience overall so that we don't lose customers in the process like we do today.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• AWS Certifications is a plus

Shift timings: 11 AM – 8 PM
