The Purpose of this Role
The Individual we are seeking to hire is a hands-on & well-honed enterprise software engineer who is well-versed in design and development. The candidate will be responsible for driving the execution of key LRC Financial Crimes programs in a multi-year transformation program. This individual is expected to work directly with Product Architects and senior developers across the team, as well as other technical and business stakeholders across the organization in a fast-paced agile environment.
The Value You Deliver
Designing and developing solutions for the LRC Financial Crimes squads in the Sanctions and the AML products.
Developing CI / CD pipelines for API deployments in Spring, SpringBoot, Docker and AWS / EKS, Apigee, App Servers, and key AWS services including EKS, S3.
Exposure to PowerApps
Developing APIs that are both internally and externally facing supporting SaaS and on-prem vendor integration.
Developing APIs and messaging for enterprise message bus integration (Apache Kafka)
Engaging peer technology groups in other Business Units for coordinated design and development work.
Providing 2nd and 3rd level production support to Customer Compliance products.
Interested in and understanding the Financial Crimes space and understand how the internal IT Applications are connected and thus able to contribute to the product vision and in its execution.

Technical skills
You effectively address functional and non-functional, quality goals of systems during design & development.
You are self-starting in Identifying business critical gaps and discrepancies & actively propose Application solutions/improve processes.
You are hands-on in most of the following skills: Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, JUnit5, Mockito, Docker, Kubernetes, Dev Ops CI CD, Kafka, AWS-EKS, Datadog, Grafana
You are willing to learn the required skills to support a legacy mainframe application which is on the decommission path such as JCL, COBOL, DB2 SQL, PROC, NSP, DFSORT, CICS.
Behavioral attributes
Strong written & oral communication and presentation skills with an understanding of when to be precise/elaborate.
Self-starting and independent
Ability to work effectively in global team distributed across geographic locations: US, India.
Willing to share the knowledge by taking knowledge sharing sessions and increase the technology capabilities of the team.
Have a growth/positive mindset for adding value to the team and help in increasing the overall productivity of the team.
The Skills that are Good to Have for this role
Awareness of public cloud platform services like AWS, Azure. Exposure to Financial Crimes, and Anti-Money laundering domain space.

The Expertise We are Looking for.
4 to 8 years of experience in design, development, and implementation of Java/J2EE applications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Location: Chennai
Shift timings: 11:00 AM IST - 8:00 PM IST
