Job Description
We are looking for a candidate who will lead and manage the project delivery team to assist our customers realize the value of a deployed solution. You will establish and communicate clear project priorities and program activities. This role is the primary point of contact to align the customer, stakeholders and the GTEC Custom App delivery teams. This candidate would also demonstrate passion to manage people while carrying out and attaining the mission and goals of
the team being managed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
TECHNICAL
Delivery
● Strong “hands on” project management experience from inception to closure phases for web
development projects
● Experience with multiple engagements as a lead on delivery or consulting projects/ programs
● Experience of delivering one or more fixed time, fixed price or SLA based managed services engagements
● Knowledge of effort and cost estimation methodologies/ frameworks
● Direct people management responsibilities for 5 or more people (including track leads/ other leads) / responsibility of 10 or more people as part of a cross functional team comprising of business analysts,developers, testers and other support functions
● Good commercial acumen i.e. understanding of pricing models, delivery budgeting, etc.
● Previous experience with vendor management, RFP, SoW and contracts Technical
● Understanding and prior exposure to one or more Agile Methodologies –Scrum, SAFe, Scrum with XP, Kanban, and Scrum ban etc.- Understanding and prior exposure to one or more Agile Methodologies –Scrum, SAFe, Scrum with XP, Kanban, and
Scrum ban etc.
● Hands-on exposure in JAVA/J2EE technology stack (Spring, EJB, JSP, Servlets, JMS, RMI, JSF), Core JAVA,RDBMS, PL/SQL
● Good understanding of DBMS, SQL, PL-SQL,
● Exposure in HTML5, Angular JS, JQuery, JAVAScript and related technologies
● Knowledge of IBM Rational / Jira tools
● Good Understanding and application experience of Agile principles and practices
● Knowledge of DevOps practices and toolset (CI/CD)
● Understanding of Cloud technology (Good to have)
● Awareness of latest trends and technology in the Application development space
● Good understanding in LEAN, OPEX Tools & methodologies (Nice to have)
