Job location: Sydney, NSW, AU, 2000
Job reference number: 105526
Employment type: Permanent Full-Time
Salary range: An attractive remuneration package
You’re someone who wants to create outcomes that have a real impact on the people of NSW.

You’re ready to play an essential role behind the scenes by providing vital support, ensuring seamless project execution, and playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation.

In this role, you'll:

Join our Infrastructure, Projects & Engineering (IPE) Division which delivers public transport projects, rail fleet and systems, roads, motorways and active transport, along with pipeline development, partnerships, property development, and performance optimisation for Transport for NSW.

As Lead Specialist, Project Development, you will support the development and management of Transport for NSW’s pipeline and portfolio of projects, working closely with project teams, partner divisions and stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals and support planning, prioritisation and resourcing of integrated project teams. A key focus of the role is driving early-stage project development, supporting project activation, shaping project briefs, and ensuring projects are set up for success through strong planning, governance, reporting and ways of working.

Act as a central point of coordination across the Pipeline, Partnerships and Development Branch, helping to create clarity and momentum across the portfolio. You’re confident working independently, but you value collaboration and know how to engage others to achieve shared outcomes. You bring sound judgement, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Essential requirements - Extensive experience supporting project development or project management, ideally within the transport or infrastructure environment and relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
