A leading Venture Capital firm is on a look-out for a Strategic Partnerships Lead who will work closely with the leadership and investment team to establish and leverage partnerships and accelerate the growth of early-stage tech businesses.
Please Note: People with a passion and prior experience in areas like energy transition, climate innovation and sustainability will be preferred for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Building relationships with key stakeholders like development agencies, corporates, and non-profits.
• Creating innovative partnership structures for portfolio companies.
• Identifying gaps, needs, and opportunities for external partnerships.
• Designing and implementing scalable partnership models.
• Collaborating with think tanks and research partners for systemic climate impact.
• Tracking and measuring the impact of partnership initiatives on portfolio companies.
To Fit the Bill, you must have:
• 4-6 years of experience in partnership, business development, or program management.
• Demonstrated ability to handle various stakeholder interactions.
• Understanding of the effect, development, and climate tech ecosystems.
• Understanding of climate policies, sustainable financial systems, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
• Strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively, solve problems, and analyse data.
• Passion for climate innovation and sustainability.
• Previous experience with development agencies, corporations, or international organizations is advantageous.
