Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Systems Operations Engineer...
In this role, you will:
• Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
• Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
• Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
• Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
• Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals
Essential Qualifications:
• Overall 12+ years of experience in Production / Application support teams (including installations / deployments / configurations)
• 6+ years of experience in Windows or Linux Administration
• Willingness to work on shifts 16x7, flexible working hours and attend late night calls
• Change. Incident, Alert, Problem management experience
• For Windows environments - experience in IIS, SQL Server Administration, Windows administration, Windows PowerShell scripting
• For Linux environments - experience in Unix Scripting
• Experience with app or web servers such as Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBOSS (and/or combination of these)
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL (and/or combination of these)
• DevOps tools/experience - Github, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible
• Experience with SRE, Application, System and Database monitoring jobs / tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Netcool, Autosys, Elk and Basemon
• SSL Certificate management experience
• Knowledge of ticket tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy
• Experience with Agile / Kanban methodologies
• Experience with Oauth, SAML and JWT
• Experience with Autosys or other scheduling tools
Desired Qualifications:
• History of implementation of efficiencies, resiliencies, automations and transformations
• .Net Development/Support experience (including .Net Core)
• Basic C# or Java development experience
• Chaos, performance and BCP testing experience
• ITIL 4 or 5 experience
