Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead to join our team. The Tech Lead will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of projects, managing the development team, and ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, along with a strong technical background.
Responsibilities
• Lead the development team, providing guidance and support to team members
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring that milestones are met and deadlines are achieved
• Manage and prioritize project tasks, ensuring that the team is working on the most critical items
• Ensure that code quality and best practices are being followed by the development team
• Act as a technical point of contact for the development team and communicate technical issues to stakeholders as needed
• Continuously monitor and improve team processes to ensure efficient and effective delivery of software solutions
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong technical skills in at least one programming language (e.g. Nodejs, Python, GoLang, etc.) and related technologies
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technical solutions
Preferred:
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g. Docker)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git, etc.)
