Job Description:
Lead Test Engineer with 10 + years’ experience, Location - Miami - FL, Hybrid
• The role involves leading testing initiatives, managing testing teams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and deliver test plans that align with application technological and business objectives.
• Knowledge / Experience telecom industry or MVNO technology is a plus.
• Experience with E- commerce applications are a plus.
• Lead functional, integration, and regression testing efforts across various systems.
• Oversee test case development, execution, and defect tracking.
• Manage and mentor a team of test engineers, ensuring skill development and high team morale.
• Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with the Scrum team, including developers, product owners, and other stakeholders, to define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure test planning and execution align with the iterative delivery model of Scrum.
• Support backlog refinement by identifying and estimating testing tasks required for each sprint.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation tools where appropriate.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all testing-related activities and updates.
• Work closely with development, product, and operations teams to identify testing requirements.
• Write, execute, and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate test data.
• Verify backend data changes triggered by frontend actions, ensuring proper alignment with business logic.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across multiple database systems.
