Your New Role

This is a rare opportunity to sit at the heart of the Office of the CEO and play a pivotal role in how Australia’s largest profit‑for‑members super fund operates at the most senior level.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Lead to Chief of Staff is a critical connective role bringing operational precision, sound judgement and strategic awareness to ensure the CEO and Office of the CEO (OCEO) run with clarity, cadence and impact.
You’ll act as a delegated leader across day‑to‑day orchestration of the OCEO, working in close partnership with the CEO’s Executive Assistant to streamline workflows, coordinate priorities and lift the quality of executive engagement across the organisation and beyond.

As the Lead, to Chief of Staff, you will;

Own and maintain the OCEO stakeholder framework, managing senior internal and external relationships including the Board, Chair’s office, Group Executives and regulators
Drive high‑quality CEO communications, briefings, speeches, correspondence and executive packs, ensuring clarity, judgement and audience relevance
Lead executive cadence and forward planning, including ownership of the corporate calendar and integration of Board, governance and senior external forums
Champion AI‑enabled and technology‑led ways of working to lift efficiency, quality and speed across executive support
Deliver priority projects and initiatives on behalf of the Chief of Staff and CEO
Role‑model strong risk awareness, discretion and governance discipline in a highly confidential environment

You will bring;

Proven experience operating in complex, senior stakeholder environments (CEO, Board or C‑suite level)
Exceptional written communication skills, with experience drafting tone‑critical correspondence and executive materials
Strong judgement, organisational acumen and the ability to anticipate needs before they surface
Experience managing executive cadence, governance rhythms and competing priorities
A practical curiosity for AI and smarter ways of working
Background in financial services, superannuation or a similarly regulated environment is advantageous
