Duties
Core Duties
Curriculum & Instruction: Deliver a state approved scripted curriculum that teaches children foundational skills while fostering curiosity & problem-solving
Child Supervision: Maintain constant supervision and ensure the safety & well-being of every child throughout the day
Daily Care: Support children's daily routines by assisting with hygiene, meals and rest ties promoting independence and self-help skills
Behavior Management: Encourage positive behaviors, model kindness & respect, guide children in managing emotions & social interactions
Assessment & Documentation: Observe and record each child's development and progress, communicating any concerns & updates to administration and parents
Parent Communication: Build professional relationship with parents
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to support a team-centered, nurturing & creative learning environment
Classroom Environment: Create and maintain a clean, safe, & inviting classroom where children feel welcomed and inspired to learn
Requirements
Pass the criminal records screening
Current CDA
Commitment to a Monday-Friday schedule- Full-time
Meet all state requirements for Lead Teachers
Ongoing professional development each year
Current CPR and Fire Safety certifications
Minimum age 21 years with high school diploma or equivalent
