Job Description
We're looking to add to this talent pool a Team Lead Web Development. The role reports to Program Manager - Content & Commerce and will be a key influencer of our digital identity.
The candidate must possess in-depth functional knowledge of the process area and apply it to operational scenarios to provide effective solutions. He/she must be able to identify discrepancies and propose optimal solutions by using a logical, systematic, and sequential methodology. It is vital to be open-minded towards inputs and views from team members and to effectively lead, control, and motivate groups towards company objects. Additionally, he/she must be self-directed, proactive, and seize every opportunity to meet internal and external customer needs and achieve customer satisfaction by effectively auditing processes, implementing best practices and process improvements, and utilizing the frameworks and tools available. Goals and thoughts must be clearly and concisely articulated and conveyed, verbally, and in writing, to clients, colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors.
The ideal experience map 2-4 years of hands-on experience of experience managing web projects, should have worked on at least 2 projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with client and internal resources for the flawless execution of projects
• Create a project plan and monitor progress to ensure all deliverables are on-track and within the scope
• Assist in the definition of request scope, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Perform QA on the work executed by the team
• Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with the team and handle team queries
• Coordinate with different channel owners and update the project status
• Manage client calls, communication on email/JIRA
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Work on building quarterly business review decks
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Technical and Functional Skills:
• 2-4 years of experience in managing web projects, should have worked on at least 2 projects.
• Knowledge on Front End technologies like HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
• Experience with Project Management Tools - JIRA, Agile Central (Rally), Confluence
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
