Job description
We are searching for a highly technical architect with a strong background in HRSD and ITSM to join a team as a ServiceNow Business Applications Architect. In this pivotal role, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing complex ServiceNow solutions, and will be able to provide technical leadership and guidance to the team.
Qualification Profile:
• A successful university degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) is highly preferred.
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow development and configuration, ideally with a background as a ServiceNow developer or architect.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, core functionalities, and non-IT modules beyond the ITSM module (e.g., Platform,AppEngine, HRSD, IRM, CSM, SPM, licensing). This includes strong expertise in ServiceNow App Engine, ServiceNow Employee Centre, building complex workflows and processes, data modelling and manipulation, API integration, and scripting languages (JavaScript, UI Actions).
• ServiceNow certification is a prerequisite (CSA, CAD, CIS, CMA, CTA).
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying ServiceNow customisations and integrations.
• Experience working within Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in office software (MS Office, Confluence, Jira).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a focus on technical articulation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Architect, with a focus on HRSD and ITSM modules.
• Strong technical skills, including JavaScript, Web Services, and ServiceNow development best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL and Agile methodologies.
• Proven track record of delivering successful ServiceNow projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities:
• Solution Architecture: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and processes, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring the effective implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
• HRSD & ITSM Expertise: Demonstrate deep expertise in ServiceNow HRSD and ITSM modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, Performance Analytics, and Service Catalog.
• Development: Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality code, adherence to best practices, and on-time delivery.
• Integration: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems, such as Workday, SAP, and UIPath.
• Troubleshooting: Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to the ServiceNow platform.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business partners and technical teams.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Security: Ensure that ServiceNow solutions adhere to security best practices and comply with organisational standards.
• Team Development: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
