Earn $40–$60 AUD per hour plus an uncapped bonus on top, strong earning potential for the right performer
Company vehicle provided, no out-of-pocket transport costs
3:30pm finish Monday to Friday, no weekends, no rosters, no exceptions
Varied installs across all major HVAC system types, ducted, splits, gas, and evaporative

The Role
You will be carrying out HVAC installations across residential new builds and existing homes throughout Melbourne, working Monday to Friday in a company vehicle with a clear set of standards to work to. This is a leading hand position, which means you will also be mentoring apprentices on the tools and keeping quality and customer satisfaction high across every job.
Day to day you will be:
Installing ducted reverse cycle systems, high wall splits, multi-head splits, VRV systems, gas ducted heaters, and evaporative coolers
Working across both new builds and existing residential homes
Mentoring and guiding apprentices on site
Completing job notes, photos, checklists, and status updates through Aroflo job management software
Maintaining your van stock, tools, and presentation to company standards
Delivering clean installs with no return jobs and leaving every site tidy
Standard hours are 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
What We Need
Certificate III in Plumbing (Registered Mechanical Plumber) or qualified Refrigeration Mechanic, non-negotiable
ARCTick licence for split systems, must hold this on arrival
White Card and full driver's licence required
Working With Children's Check, this is a Victorian requirement and will need to be applied for on arrival if you are coming from NZ
Hands-on experience across ducted reverse cycle, splits, gas ducted heaters, and evaporative coolers
Experience across both new builds and existing homes preferred
Comfortable using job management software, experience with Simpro, Fergus, Aroflo, or similar is an advantage
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to be accountable and follow clear operational standards
Comfortable with GPS-tracked vehicles and weekly timesheets matched to job records
