Role/ Job Title: Lead - Quality Assurance
Function/ Department: Testing Governance & Assurance
Job Purpose:
The QA team lead will be responsible for overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities in the Wholesale Banking team. This includes managing all aspects of UAT, from planning to the execution of new applications, enhancements, and other changes. The role involves building and running the testing framework for the Wholesale Banking Operations team and managing UAT for all applications within Wholesale Banking Operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Define quality standards and framework for WB Ops UAT Program
Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
Work with all stake holders & Technology team to ensure that the quality metrics are reviewed, closed, and agreed upon.
Define milestones and checkpoints and measurable criteria to check the quality on a timely basis. Define testing entry/exit criteria, testing documentation and signoff process.
Establish project plan & Goals for each UAT and work closely on the deadlines of the project.
Set processes for test plan reviews and ensure that that test plans get reviewed by all stakeholders.
Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services.
and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and
automated).
Define and establish automation roadmap.
Review test strategies and see that all the various kinds of testing like unit, functional, SIT, performance, stress, acceptance etc. are getting covered by IT before it comes for UAT.
Education Qualification:
Bachelors in engineering / Technology /B. E,/B.Sc. / Science / Biology /
Postgraduate: M. E, M.SC
Experience:
10 to 18 years of relevant experience,
