Waterworld Te Rapa is our flagship aquatics centre and it offers something for everyone. With six pools including toddler and outdoor pools, hydroslides, a full-service gym, land and water-based exercise classes, learn to swim classes and more.

As a Learn to Swim Teacher you will be teaching preschool and school aged children the basics of swimming and water safety. We are looking for people with good communication and relationship building skills.

We have a number of roles available working 10 hours per week. The shift will include two weekday afternoons from 3:15-6:30pm and one weekend from 7:45-11:30am.

We are looking for people with a passion for ensuring that the next generation of New Zealanders grow up being capable and confident in the water. If this is you, we would love to talk to you!

Qualifications

Austswim trained with teacher of swimming and water safety
Previous industry experience teaching people to swim
Wide open availability to cover shifts
It is essential that you have a love of the water and enjoy interacting with children
