Jaipur Rugs is a social enterprise that connects rural craftsmanship with global markets through its luxurious handmade carpets. It is a family-run business that offers an exclusive range of hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs made using a 2500-year-old traditional art form.
Our Unique Business Model
The founder, Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary created a unique business model that provides livelihood to artisans at their doorstep, changing the standard practice of involving middlemen to work with artisanal communities.
The company currently has a network of over 40,000 artisans spread across 600 rural Indian villages in five states of India. It has an end-to-end business model, right from sourcing wool to exporting a finished handmade rug.
Global Reach and Awards
The modern and eclectic collection of rugs, made using the finest wool and silk, has won numerous global awards and is currently exported to more than 45 countries, with the US sales arm, Jaipur Living, Inc. located in Georgia, Atlanta.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Development Programs
Design and deliver engaging training modules aligned with organizational goals.
Conduct training needs assessments and develop learning solutions to address skill gaps.
Competency Framework Development
Develop and maintain a competency framework encompassing skills, attitudes, knowledge, and cultural parameters.
Evaluate employee development against defined competencies and provide feedback.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with department heads to identify learning priorities and ensure alignment with business strategies.
Partner with external trainers or vendors to deliver specialized programs when required.
Evaluation and Continuous Improvement
Measure training effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative metrics.
Continuously improve learning initiatives based on feedback and organizational changes.
Cultural Integration
Embed Jaipur Rugs' core values into training programs, fostering alignment with the company's vision and mission.
Promote a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and collaboration through learning initiatives.
