Overall Purpose of The Job
The Learning Content Developer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing engaging and effective learning materials for various training programs. This role involves applying instructional design principles, leveraging digital tools, and creating interactive content to enhance learning experiences. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and experienced in developing e-learning, blended learning, and instructor-led training materials.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Content Development & Instructional Design
Design and develop maritime training courses, including STCW-aligned programs, safety training and compliance modules.
Create interactive e-learning modules, instructor-led training (ILT) materials, and blended learning programs.
Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick’s Model) to ensure effective knowledge retention.
Develop multimedia-rich training using videos, animations, interactive simulations, and assessments.
