Job Description
You will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify training needs, develop training materials, deliver training sessions, and assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
Your primary objective will be to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Needs Analysis:
Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify learning and development needs at individual, team, and organizational levels.
Conduct thorough training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.
Analyze data to determine skills gaps and training priorities.
Learning Program Development:
Design, develop, and update learning and development programs that align with organizational goals and address identified needs.
Create engaging training materials, such as presentations, handouts, e-learning modules, and multimedia content.
Leverage instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create effective and learner-centric training experiences.
Training Delivery and Facilitation:
Deliver training sessions through various methods, including classroom training, workshops, webinars, and virtual training platforms.
Facilitate interactive and engaging training sessions to maximize knowledge retention and skills application.
Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment, catering to diverse learning styles and preferences.
Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
Conduct post-training evaluations to assess the effectiveness of learning programs and gather feedback from participants.
Analyze evaluation data and identify areas for improvement or modification in training content or delivery methods.
Continuously update and refine training materials based on feedback, industry trends, and emerging best practices.
Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Administration:
Manage the organization's learning management system, including content upload, user administration, and reporting.
Monitor and track employee training progress and completion rates.
Generate reports on training activities, learner performance, and the impact of learning initiatives on key performance indicators.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with subject matter experts, internal trainers, and external training vendors to develop and deliver specialized training programs.
Build relationships with managers and employees to understand their development needs and provide guidance and support.
Partner with HR and other departments to align learning and development initiatives with talent management and succession planning efforts.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Training, Organizational Development, or a related field.
A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a similar role for atleast a year Strong understanding of adult learning principles, training methodologies, and instructional design frameworks.
Proficient in using learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to drive decision-making and measure training effectiveness.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
