Learning Mentor - Rushdon
Monarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working alongside Primary Schools in the Northamptonshire area to find a Learning Mentor to work full time to start in January 2026.
The candidate for this role will provide support, motivation and guidance to help pupils overcome obstacles to their learning. These could include learning difficulties, family issues, mental health problems or a lack of confidence.
The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:
• Actively listening to students' concerns
• Discussing ways and forming plans to address these
• Providing support, advice and guidance tailored to each student's situation
• Organising activities
• Maintain accurate records and prepare written reports and evaluations
• Monitor attendance and punctuality of learners
School Location: NN2 7RR Accessibility: Easily accessible on Public Transport / Onsite Parking
Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
