Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Silverdale Primary Academy. The successful candidate will work closely with our pupils, teachers, and support staff to provide individualized support and promote learning.
The role involves:
Providing one-to-one support to students with special educational needs or disabilities
Assisting teachers in the classroom, including setting up activities, preparing materials, and maintaining a safe and organized learning environment
Supporting students during lessons, breaks, and lunchtime
Encouraging independence, self-confidence, and self-esteem in students
Requirements:
GCSE qualifications (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent experience in a related field
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Knowledge of child development principles and practices
First Aid qualification an advantage
