Job Overview:
As a legal administrative assistant, you will support our civil litigation practice by performing a variety of administrative duties. This includes:
· Drafting and proofreading correspondence and pleadings;
· Organizing electronic and paper files;
· Assisting in the preparation of case files and organizing files for trial, examinations for discovery, mediation and hearings;
· Coordinating and scheduling client meetings, examinations for discovery, chambers applications and trial;
· Entering and monitoring BFs and limitation dates.
Qualifications:
· At least 2 years’ experience as a legal administrative assistant, with a focus on general civil litigation;
· Strong understanding of civil litigation processes and court filing procedures;
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
· Experience with Unity Accounting and Net Documents preferred;
· Excellent organizational and time management skills;
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

We are a small firm newly established in the Sullivan area of Surrey, B.C. We are quickly growing in the areas of civil litigation and immigration and seek to add a team member who can grow with our practice.

· Flexible work schedule (ability to work one 8 hour day or two 4 hour days or some other combination thereof)
