Legal Administrative Assistant / Receptionist

We are a busy legal firm based in the Wollongong CBD seeking a legal administrative assistant/receptionist to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, who is highly organised, professional and intends on working as a long-term career legal administrative assistant.
Located in the heart of Wollongong CBD in newly refurbished offices, this role will see you working closely with the partners of the practice in a friendly, supportive and caring team.
This role sees the successful applicant growing their legal experience over time, with exposure mainly in conveyancing, with the view of eventually working as a Conveyancing Assistant. Work tasks will include:
Reception duties
Diary management including scheduling all meetings, appointments and activities
Opening and closing of all files
Drafting and amending correspondence and documents
Management of online portals
Taking calls
Client contact
Management of confidential documentation
Preparation of invoices
Collecting and sending mail
Assisting on conveyancing files
Requirements:
- Good command of WORD and EXCEL
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Be an enthusiastic and positive person
Experience with Smokeball and assisting on conveyancing files would be a bonus but is not essential.
The role would suit someone who is currently or recently completed a Cert III or IV in Legal Services, or Diploma of Conveyancing.
