Legal Administrative Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for the legal field, particularly in areas such as personal injury law, family law, workers' compensation law, estate planning, and immigration law. This role involves supporting attorneys in various tasks, including research, client interviews, and case preparation.
Duties
Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
Organize and Maintain case files.
Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Schedule appointments and manage calendars for attorneys.
Interview clients to gather necessary information for cases.
Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements
Minimum experience of 2 years as a Legal Assistant.
Strong knowledge of estate planning, and Taxation law is highly desirable.
Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze legal documents effectively.
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A proactive attitude towards learning new areas of law and legal procedures.
