The opportunity:

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail‑driven Legal Administrator to join our General Liability team in our Adelaide office. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide comprehensive administrative support to a Partner and their team of lawyers, playing a key role in the smooth running of a busy litigation practice.

What you’ll do
Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to a busy General Liability litigation team
Open and manage new matters in WKase, ensuring all client, billing and matter details are captured accurately
Prepare, format, proofread and finalise legal documents in line with firm house style
Manage diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and key deadlines for lawyers
Assist with matter management, including file maintenance, archiving, and tracking reporting and court deadlines
Support court processes, including preparation of briefs, bundles, bibles and electronic filings
Assist with billing and financial administration, including time capture, disbursements, expenses and billing spreadsheets
Communicate professionally with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders
Provide general office and front‑of‑house support, including answering phones, managing enquiries and assisting with day‑to‑day office administration as required
What you bring
Previous experience as a Legal Administrator / Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Confident written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
A proactive, collaborative approach and a willingness to support the wider team
A positive attitude and strong commitment to delivering high‑quality work
