Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Advisor to join our real estate team. As a Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert legal guidance on real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and protecting the company's interests in all legal matters related to property dealings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Legal Consultation: Provide legal advice and support on all real estate transactions, including property acquisitions, sales, leases, and development projects.
• Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions, ensuring they are legally sound and protect the company's interests.
• Compliance: Ensure all real estate transactions comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in real estate law and advise the company accordingly.
• Dispute Resolution: Handle legal disputes related to property matters, including resolving conflicts between parties, managing litigation, and representing the company in court if necessary.
• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough legal due diligence on property transactions, including verifying property titles, checking for encumbrances, and assessing any legal risks.
• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks in real estate transactions and provide recommendations to mitigate those risks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, finance, and project management, to ensure that all legal aspects of real estate transactions are properly addressed.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with zoning laws, land use regulations, and other legal requirements related to property development and usage.
• Legal Research: Conduct legal research on real estate law and related issues, providing insights and recommendations based on current legal trends and precedents.
• Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all legal documents, contracts, and correspondence related to real estate transactions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution. A Master’s degree (LLM) is an added advantage.
• Proven experience as a Legal Advisor or similar role in real estate law.
• Strong knowledge of real estate law, property law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Member of the Bar Association with a valid license to practice law.
