Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Legal and Liaison Manager to oversee all legal, compliance, and government liaison activities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of corporate legal affairs, regulatory frameworks, and government processes. This critical role involves ensuring full legal compliance, managing contracts and legal risks, and building effective relationships with government and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all legal aspects of the company, including contracts, agreements, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including vendor contracts, NDAs, MoUs, and partnership agreements.
Liaise with various government departments, regulatory authorities, and external legal counsel as required.
Represent the company in legal matters and ensure timely resolution of disputes or compliance issues.
Ensure the company adheres to statutory and legal regulations, particularly in areas like labor law, environmental law, and industry-specific regulations.
Maintain accurate legal records and documentation.
Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the automotive sector.
Support internal audits and risk management strategies.
Provide legal advice to senior management and other departments as needed.
Facilitate smooth communication between the company and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals, clearances, and permits.
Key Requirements:
Gender: Open to all
Experience: 5–10 years in a legal and liaison role, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry
Education: LLB (LLM or additional qualifications in Corporate Law is an advantage)
Strong understanding of corporate, labor, industrial, and environmental laws
Proven experience in liaison with government departments and legal bodies
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation tools
