About the Team
Our Property, Planning and Development practice advises some of Australia’s leading property developers on projects both within and outside of Australia, including a number of iconic developments. In this role you would be supporting a team of six, including lead Partner, Ron Eames and Special Counsels, Grace Wimberley and Marsha Klipp.

About the Role
By way of example the work that you would undertake will include:
Drafting routine correspondence and documentation including the use of precedents, style guides and firm standards
Managing emails, diaries and voicemail for the team
File and team organisation
Processing transfer duty assessments through OSR Online
E-lodgement of documents with Titles Queensland
Assisting with conveyancing, including using PEXA
Production of presentations and assisting in the organisation of seminars and events
Assisting with client account management including managing fee estimates
Coordinating and managing monthly reports
Ensuring time sheets are up to date and accurate
Preparation of bills and dealing with billing queries from clients
Assisting with processing of expenses claims
Opening and closing files (including archiving)
Ordering general property searches
About You
To be successful in this role, it is essential for you to have experience as legal assistant, this could be in property, planning or in a commercial practice group.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with end of month billing (Aderant experience will be highly regarded)
Able to communicate in a professional manner with clients and colleagues
Active team member, completing tasks and assisting others to complete tasks
Develops good working relationships
Excellent literacy
Strong attention to detail
Plans and prioritises work to meet deadlines
Possesses a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for their work and uses their initiative
Uses discretion and deals with sensitive information appropriately
Experience ordering searches through Infotrack, SAI Global and similar platforms
Conveyancing experiences (including use of PEXA) is not essential but would be considered advantageous
