Turks are currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Commercial practice group in Sydney on a four or five day per week basis.

Responsibilities
You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
preparation and drafting of court documents/correspondence;
diary management;
brief preparation;
monthly billing;
opening/closing files;
executive/ personal assistant duties as required;
assisting lawyers as necessary; and
general secretarial and administrative tasks.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have:
6 months + recent experience as a legal assistant/secretary/admin assistant;
billing experience desirable;
exceptional organisational skills; and
a meticulous eye for detail and accurate proof reading skills.
In addition, you will:
have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively to work within tight time frames;
enthusiastic, committed and proactive approach to work;
a commitment to a career in legal support; and
ability to work autonomously and within a team.
