Legal Assistant
Job Objective:
To assist the legal department in preparing, reviewing, and managing various legal documents, agreements, and patta related to real estate projects, ensuring legal accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and format legal documents including:
Sale agreements
Lease deeds
MoUs
Loan agreements
Power of attorney (PoA)
Patta documents and related land/title documents
Assist in the preparation of affidavits, declarations, and legal notices.
Maintain and organize records of all legal documents and agreements.
Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Projects) to gather necessary information for drafting.
Support senior legal officers in legal vetting and compliance checks.
Conduct preliminary legal research related to property laws, land titles, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the verification of property-related documents (title deeds, patta, khata, etc.)
Coordinate with external legal counsel for review or approvals when required.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal and business information.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong drafting and documentation skills
Knowledge of property/real estate laws and land documentation processes (especially patta, registration, mutation, etc.)
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in MS Office and document formatting tools
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
TYPING
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or a diploma in legal studies/paralegal work
1–3 years of experience in legal drafting or paralegal role (preferably in a real estate or property law setting)
Experience in preparing land ownership documents like patta is highly desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
