Job Description
What you will be doing:
Provide administrative legal support including drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and calendar management.
Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Organize and maintain case files and documents, both electronically and in hard copy.
Coordinate communication between lawyers, clients, and court personnel.
Prepare materials for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
Assist with docketing and invoicing processes.
What we need you to bring to the position:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience gained as a litigation legal assistant with extensive experience in Labour and Employment.
Completion of a post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk program.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Cool under pressure – able to handle multiple priorities with grace.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
