The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Sydney Property team for an experienced Property Legal Assistant.
Our Property team act for many institutional and local property clients, corporate tenants and developers. As a Property Legal Assistant you will be driven, enthusiastic and ideally have excellent knowledge and experience in the conveyancing including off the plan and leasing space working with corporate clients.
Who We Are Looking For
The successful candidate must be proficient in:
Assisting in the preparation and finalisation of electronic and physical legal documents;
File management;
Billing (including client billing platforms);
Coordinating team meetings/events;
Mail merging documents and formatting;
Diary management;
Answering phone calls and assisting with client enquiries;
Organisation of themselves and others;
Being accountable for deadlines and tasks, and effectively managing competing deadlines; and
Collaborating well with a broad range of stakeholders.

Exceptional communication (both verbal and written) skills are essential as well as being highly driven in the area of client service. You will have the ability to diarise and prioritise tasks, a systematic and highly organised approach to your work, and will respond to client queries promptly and within the firm’s required timeframes. You will display initiative, have exceptional attention to detail and a proven history of meeting deadlines. You will be a team player that, while enjoying their own work, also enjoys collaborating to help the broader team when required.
