We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support a Partner and their team of lawyers within our highly regarded Real Estate practice in Melbourne.
This is an opportunity to work closely with a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, where your organisational skills and proactive approach will be highly valued.
You will work closely with a partner and their team to provide administrative support including:
Liaising with clients and key internal and external stakeholders
File management and matter administration
Matter opening and onboarding
Managing calendars and coordinating meetings
Conducting property searches
Billing, time coding and reporting
Assisting with events and business development activities
Required skills and personal attributes:
Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance‑related software
Ability to develop and foster strong professional relationships internally and with clients
