Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Legal Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT contracts and an understanding of the legal aspects of cybersecurity and AI technologies. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing legal support to our rapidly growing organization. The candidate must also be comfortable facing clients and participating in calls with clients and their legal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Contract Review and Drafting:
• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of IT-related contracts, including software licenses, service agreements, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
• Ensure that all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
• Client Interaction:
• Participate in calls and meetings with clients and their legal teams to discuss contract terms, negotiate agreements, and address legal concerns.
• Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Legal Compliance:
• Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to cybersecurity and AI technologies.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations that could impact the company's operations and ensure compliance.
• Risk Management:
• Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Provide guidance on data privacy and protection, intellectual property rights, and other relevant issues.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with internal teams, including IT, HR, and business development, to understand and address their legal needs.
• Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of all contracts and legal documents.
• Prepare reports on legal activities and present them to senior management.

Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university. A Master's degree (LLM) in IT law, Cybersecurity law, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience:
• 2-4 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in the IT or cybersecurity industry.
• Skills
• Strong understanding of contract law, IT law, and cybersecurity regulations.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and their legal teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
