Role Description
• This is a full-time on-site role as a Legal Associate - General Corporate & IPR at Lexicon Legal in Surat.
• As a Legal Associate, you will conduct legal research and analysis on corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law issues; draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including contracts, agreements, and pleadings; assist with IP portfolio management, corporate governance, and due diligence for transactions; communicate with clients, ensuring regulatory compliance; support litigation matters; manage case files, track deadlines, and engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on legal developments in corporate and IP law.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Law degree from a recognized law school.
• 0-3 years of experience in corporate and/or intellectual property law.
• Strong understanding of corporate law principles, contract law, and intellectual property law.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal research databases.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
• Business Acumen: A good understanding of business principles and practices is helpful, especially when advising clients on IP strategies and corporate transactions.
Bonus Points:
• LLM in Intellectual Property Law or related field.
• Experience with trademark prosecution or patent licensing.
• Familiarity with online court filing systems
